Published by the GLA Transport Committee in 2016, the report covers motorcycle road safety in the capital.#
The report recommends that TfL sets aside a dedicated budget to focus on :
- a better understanding of why motorcyclist casualties occur.
- a more proactive strategy from TfL to help ensure a common approach to bus lane access across the city.
- continuing education
- increasing participation in Bikesafe by young riders
- embedded good road design taking into account the needs of all vulnerable road users.
